The ideal course for anyone involved in designing products for a mainstream audience.
Overview and objectives
Inclusive design is about understanding the diversity within your target users, which enables you to make better design decisions.
This workshop introduces what inclusive design is, the business case for why it is worthwhile, and demonstrates practical tools for its implementation. You will discover many real life examples and case studies illustrating that inclusive designs are better designs.
- Suitable for: This course is aimed at anyone whose decisions impact on the user experience. This includes product designers or managers, or indeed those who commission, specify, manage, purchase or evaluate others' designs.
- Pre-requisites: No former knowledge required.
Content

- Presentations on the inclusive design process and supporting tools
- Team exercises to explore diversity
- Group discussions to develop learning
- Action planning to help you take your learning back to the workplace
